BayCare Health System is currently seeking a full-time Health System Pharmacist S upervisor, Pharmacy Compliance and Diversion Prevention.

Position Details:

• Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital

• Location: Tampa, FL

• Status: Full Time, exempt

• Shift Hours: Day Shift

• Weekend Work: None

• On Call: Yes

• Hybrid: Yes

Health System Pharmacist S upervisor, Pharmacy Compliance and Diversion Prevention Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with pharmacy and interdisciplinary leadership to develop and maintain policies and procedures

• Ensures compliance with regulatory bodies

• Provides oversight of controlled substance handling across the health system

• Leads efforts to prevent and detect drug diversion

• Participates in the multidisciplinary Controlled Substances Diversion Prevention (CSDP) Committee

• Supports site-level Diversion Response Teams

• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

• Oversees regulatory compliance activities related to pharmacy operations across the health system

Certifications and Licensure:

• Required: Pharmacist – State of FL

• Preferred: Completion of ASHP Accredited PGY‑2 residency in Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership, Medication Safety, or equivalent.

Requirements:

• Required: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

• Required Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in management and drug diversion prevention within a hospital or health system setting.

Other Requirements:

• Demonstrated leadership competencies.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with Pyxis ES/Knowledge Portal.

• Experience with Cerner electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat.

• Experience with drug diversion software systems.
