Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,123 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Indianapolis, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week (10‑hour days) Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel We are looking for an IR Tech with at least 1 year of recent acute care experience. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in operating fluoroscopic equipment and assisting physicians during minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures. Additional responsibilities include patient preparation, intra‑procedure monitoring, radiation safety compliance, and accurate record keeping. Key Responsibilities Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients. Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patients throughout all procedures. Maintain thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards and techniques. Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Operate intravenous (IV) and dye injector pumps. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of acute care experience. BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification. State‑specific licensing as required. Vascular Interventional certificate preferred. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; aptitude for bending, leaning, or stooping. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Job ID: 1436471.
