Commercial HVAC Technician

What We Offer $35.00 to $40.00 per hour based on experience Annual earning potential of $78,000 to $90,000+ with overtime opportunities during peak seasons Weekly pay Company-provided service vehicle Annual tool allowance Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off that increases with years of service Six paid holidays Retirement plan with company matching contributions Year-round employment with a growing company Ongoing technical training and advancement opportunities Supportive team environment with long-term career stability What You'll Do Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC equipment Service rooftop units, split systems, VRF systems, boilers, VAV systems, and commercial controls Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and system performance testing Install and replace commercial HVAC equipment and components when needed Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues Complete accurate service documentation and communicate findings with customers and office staff Follow company safety procedures while maintaining a professional appearance and work environment What We're Looking For Minimum of three years of commercial HVAC service experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience working with commercial refrigeration systems, electrical controls, schematics, and HVAC equipment EPA Universal Certification required NATE Certification is a plus Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Comfortable working on rooftops, ladders, in mechanical rooms, and other commercial environments Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Strong communication skills and commitment to outstanding customer service If you're looking for a company that values technical expertise, provides year-round stability, and offers opportunities for continued professional growth, we'd like to talk with you about joining the JL Anderson Heating and Cooling team serving Crawfordsville and the surrounding West Central Indiana communities.
