Job Description:Position Description:Develops, designs, implements, and supports applications running within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud. Develops and oversees software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Develops applications, components, and subsystems to support division-wide complex projects. Creates client-facing software application components using technology tools -- Java, Spark, Python, SQL, Angular, Kafka, REST APIs, Elastic MapReduce (EMR), Glue, Hive EC2, Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Simple Storage Service (S3), Lambda, Relational Database Service (RDS), Simple Notification Service (SNS), CloudWatch, Simple Queue Service (SQS), Power BI, Parquet, JSON, XML, Avro, Tableau, Kibana, Shell Scripts, Jenkins, and Git. Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms. Draws on in-depth knowledge of the business or function to provide business unit-wide solutions by developing complex, multi-faceted software applications.
