Director of Restoration

Clarity of South Central Indiana

Position Title: Director of Restoration

Accountable To: CEO

FLSA Status: Exempt /Full-time

RESULTS STATEMENT: I am accountable for producing the following results:

To provide visionary leadership in the growth and quality of care of our Restoration services ensuring the provision of trauma-informed support for individuals healing from sexual abuse, abortion, reproductive loss, codependency, and Clarity wide root cause continuity of care. I will oversee program development, clinical oversight, and strategic partnerships while cultivating a compassionate and Christ-centered approach that embodies the heart of this ministry.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Program Leadership and Clinical Oversight

  • Leadership, vision and expansion of all Restoration programs and services
  • Ensure clinical integrity, trauma-informed care, and Christian principles are upheld across all group and mentoring formats
  • Oversee development and delivery of healing curriculum and group materials
  • Train and supervise volunteer mentors, offering regular support and development
  • Maintain compliance with state licensure standards and Clarity’s ethical guidelines

Client Care and Coordination Oversight

  • Oversee the intake process for care group and mentoring participants
  • Match individuals to appropriate groups or mentors based on needs and availability
  • Maintain accurate, confidential client records using Clarity’s tracking system
  • Provide ongoing follow-up care and next-step support to participants

Strategic Growth and Community Engagement Oversight

  • Identify opportunities to expand Restoration programs both internally and externally
  • Cross department collaboration and integration growth across all Clarity departments for cohesive continuity of care of both clients and staff.
  • Working with development and marketing teams to communicate and expand the impact of the program
  • Develop partnerships with local counselors, ministries, and organizations
  • Advocate for the program in churches, events, and community spaces

Operational Management

  • Track program outcomes, participant data, and facilitator feedback
  • Submit monthly reports, including client statistics and budget updates
  • Manage materials and supply inventory for both online and in-person group settings

Team Collaboration and Mission Alignment

  • Participate in Clarity staff meetings, prayer gatherings, and spiritual development opportunities
  • Meet regularly with executive leadership to evaluate program goals and strategic direction
  • Support and encourage a culture of grace, integrity, and excellence within the team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field

Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), LCSW, LMFT or equivalent

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in trauma recovery or related clinical work

Demonstrated experience in program development, leadership, and team supervision

Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and healing within a faith-based context

Deep personal faith in Jesus Christ and alignment with Clarity’s mission and values

PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES

Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including editing skills with meticulous attention to detail. 

Compassionate, approachable, and emotionally mature

Organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities with integrity and grace

Ability to achieve goals and align interests through cooperation and collaboration with other groups and cross-functional teams, even where no direct reporting relationship exists. 

Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matters. 

Be self-motivated, dependable, flexible and responsible

Willing to brainstorm/problem solve and be respectful of deadlines. 

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Ability to maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include: sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods of time; operating office equipment; and lifting up to 20 pounds.

Visual Acuity; ability to see and hear within normal parameters, must use hands and fingers to use keyboard and mouse; operate equipment or controls; reach above shoulder heights, below the waist; or lift to file documents or store materials throughout the work day. Proper lifting techniques required.
