The Health Booster Counseling Clinic is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team in Los Angeles, California. This full-time position allows you to provide telehealth services to a variety of patients, leveraging your skills as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, providing considerable flexibility in your work-life balance. Our telehealth platform enables effective and seamless connection with clients while utilizing advanced tools and technology that facilitate remote therapy sessions. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, utilizing culturally informed approaches to tailor treatment plans that address the unique experiences of each patient.

  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring they are adaptable to the cultural, social, and personal backgrounds of clients.

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on mental health improvement, empowerment, and resilience-building.

  • Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinate and holistic approach to patient care.

  • Respond to crises and provide immediate intervention during mental health emergencies, demonstrating calmness and understanding.

  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, available treatments, and community resources to enhance their support systems.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with legal standards while ensuring the confidentiality of patient information.

  • Engage in regular case conferences and team meetings, and actively participate in cultural competency training initiatives.

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

  • A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and their evidence-based treatment approaches.

  • Experience in delivering culturally responsive individual and group therapy, demonstrating inclusivity in practice.

  • Strong crisis intervention skills with an ability to maintain composure in challenging or high-stress situations.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building rapport across diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
