Merit Health River Region , a leading 361-bed acute care facility in historic Vicksburg, Mississippi, is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist to join our established hospital practice on a PRN basis .

This is an ideal role for a physician seeking a highly flexible schedule, supplemental income, or a transitionary pace, without the administrative burdens of a full-time practice. Your primary focus will be ensuring seamless STEMI coverage and continuity of care when our full-time interventionalist is on PTO or otherwise unavailable.

• Focused Scope: Pure interventional/STEMI coverage. No TAVR / No Structural Heart requirements.

• Collaborative Environment: Join a tight-knit, supportive heart team consisting of one full-time Interventional Cardiologist and one General Cardiologist.

• True Flexibility: Perfect for physicians looking to moonlighting, control their own calendar, or balance academic/other clinical commitments.

• Robust Hospital Support: Practice within a well-equipped, 361-bed regional medical center with an experienced cath lab staff and a built-in referral network.

• MD or DO from an accredited program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Active (or eligible for) Mississippi medical license
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative spirit
