This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician position within a specialized retail HIV/AIDS pharmacy setting in Henderson, NV. The role is full-time, contract to hire, with an immediate start, allowing you to leverage your skills in a focused and meaningful environment providing vital care to patients.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Process low-volume prescription orders with high accuracy
- Perform data entry related to prescription and patient information
- Assist in filling and dispensing medications tailored to HIV/AIDS care
- Maintain exceptional communication with patients and healthcare providers
- Uphold a high standard of patient care and support every day
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Nevada Pharmacy Technician license
- Experience with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing is highly preferred; please confirm if you have this background
- Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is desired—candidates with this experience are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication skills, both with patients and healthcare providers
- Dependability with a commitment to punctuality and attendance
