Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist - Pocatello, ID

Job Description:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and evidence-based practice. While we welcome new graduates, we prefer at least one SLP with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide therapy sessions following best clinical practices and maintain detailed records of patient progress.
• Work collaboratively with the Clinic Director and interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required (CFY candidates are encouraged to apply).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload of 12-16 patients per day in 30-minute therapy sessions with an hour lunch break.
