Specimen Management Specialist

Labcorp seeks a Specimen Management Specialist in Raritan, NJ to manage laboratory specimens, coordinate with customers and labs, and ensure accurate specimen handling and processing for diagnostic testing.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between laboratory, clients, and patients to resolve requests
• Review test forms for accuracy and report discrepancies
• Prepare, triage, identify, label, pack, and ship specimens
• Store and manage excess specimen samples
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and instant messaging

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
• Ability to accurately identify and label specimens
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Comfort handling biological specimens
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment

Compensation: $18.25-$22.00 per hour plus shift differential
