Location(s) Early Learning Center in Waldorf MD and Mudd and Diggs Elementary School in Waldorf MD Pay: 15.00 Hours: Monday through Friday ELC hours are 6:30am-9:45am pm shift 4pm-6pmMudd and Diggs Elementary hours are 6:30am-9:30am pm shift 3:15pm-6pm Looking for experience that matters? AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs that are designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment.As an AlphaBEST Group Leader Assistant, you'll help shape meaningful before and after school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive.We're looking for someone who:Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environmentTakes child safety seriously and follows procedures closelyIs flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever neededIn this role, you will:Assist with daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts) while encouraging positive peer interactionsMake child safety the top priority at all timesKeep the space clean and organizedHelp create an environment where kids feel supported and includedBuild strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staffRequirements:High School diploma or equivalent requiredCPR and First Aid certification requiredAbility to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)Here's what you'll need:Must have a high school diploma or GED,3-6 months experience in a childcare educational settingMust be at least 18 years oldAbility to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needsJoin us today!
