Security Analyst (Tier 2)

CyberLinx Solutions is seeking a skilled Security Analyst (Tier 2) to monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats across our enterprise environment. This role serves as a second level escalation point for security incidents and works closely with Tier 1 analysts, IT teams, and management to ensure timely resolution and continuous improvement of security operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events via SIEM, IDS/IPS, and other monitoring tools
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, escalating to Tier 3 or management when necessary
- Perform vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and remediation tracking
- Review logs and alerts from firewalls, endpoints, email security, and cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)
- Support endpoint protection, patching, and malware analysis efforts
- Develop and maintain incident documentation, reports, and recommendations
- Collaborate with IT, network, and compliance teams to enforce security policies and best practices
- Assist in security awareness and training programs
