Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Johns Hopkins (Direct) Program - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Johns Hopkins (Direct) Program - Main.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Telemetry med-surg unit experience and IV skills required.

Unit Details: Patient population includes cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, substance abuse, and medical diagnoses with underlying psychiatric disorder. RN/patient ratio is 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights and weekends. PCT/patient ratio is 1:10.

Shift & Scheduling: Hours may vary. Every other weekend. Holidays: every other and as needed.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
