The Denver District Attorney’s Office has immediate openings for the position of Deputy District Attorney. We offer competitive salaries that reflect relevant work history. Senior Deputy District Attorney – $169,873 – $180,324. Will have at least 10 years’ relevant experience. Associate Deputy District Attorney – $119,763 – $136,069. Must have at least 5 years’ relevant experience. Deputy District Attorney – $95,585 – $104,615. Entry Level up to 5 years’ relevant experience. Deputy District Attorney Our Deputy District Attorneys (“DDA”) perform a variety of legal duties on the behalf of the Denver community and the people of the State of Colorado. This includes appearing in County and District Courts handling all stages of prosecution. A DDA effectively manages a caseload, prepares for hearings and trials, partners with community agencies, the Denver Police Department, and other criminal justice agencies to successfully serve survivors and build criminal cases, assists victims of crime and their families through the criminal justice system, and performs other duties as assigned or requested by the District Attorney. Qualifications Qualified applicants must possess a license to practice law in Colorado from the Colorado Supreme Court by the date of hire or a reasonable expectation of becoming licensed by the Colorado Supreme Court by the date of hire in accordance with C.R.C.P. 203.2, 203.3, 203.4 and 205.6. Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.
