Overview Position Type Part Time Category Student This position is only open to current Pacific University Students Computer Support Technician provides first-level technical support to students, faculty, and staff. This position involves troubleshooting common account issues, computer hardware and software issues, providing technical guidance, and assisting users with technology-related questions. The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, customer service abilities, and a willingness to learn new technologies. Provide in-person, and phone support to users experiencing technical difficulties. Troubleshoot and resolve common computer hardware and software issues. Assist users with account setup, password resets. Assist users in reporting incidents via the Pacific services portal. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Be a willing and receptive learner. Core Competencies Gained Through the Computer Support technician role, Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Basic understanding of computer hardware and software. Ability to learn new technologies quickly. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
