Principal Project Manager

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Principal Project Manager at Newtown Square, PA, to manage large scale, high risk, strategic projects that span organizational boundaries including multiple business units and service partners/vendors. Responsibilities Establish “Trusted Advisor” relationships with project executives and all relevant stakeholder groups. Oversee the installation and client acceptance of SAP and non‑SAP software systems or system integration projects, serving as a trusted partner for a dedicated customer managing a sustainable and long‑term engagement holistically. Accountable for customer satisfaction, schedules, deliverables, overall success and satisfaction, and billable and funded via existing delivery engagements. Monitor customer engagement and budget/spending, ensuring compliance with governance process aligned with all stakeholders. Organize inter‑departmental activities, ensuring the project/product is completed on schedule and within budget. Manage cost of all projects within the portfolio. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field with seven (7) years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience, or Master’s degree with five (5) years of experience. Experience: Minimum five (5) years in each of the following: Microsoft Project (MPP); SAP Methodologies (Activate, Design Thinking, and Scrum & Agile); SAP Solution Manager; PMBOK (Process guidelines, best practices); SAP Technologies (FIORI Development and ABAP Programming); SAP S/4 HANA. Certification: PMI Certified Project Management Professional. Travel: Position requires up to 20% domestic travel to various and unanticipated client sites. Compensation: Annual base salary range: $213,824 – $272,720. Targeted combined range: $213,824 – $340,900.
