Work Environment\nThis position is designed to be primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining effective communication and collaboration with clients and team members. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, all focused on providing holistic care tailored to the individual needs of each client. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). \n
- Design, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans with measurable goals in collaboration with clients, ensuring adjustments are made based on client progress and feedback. \n
- Actively advocate for clients by connecting them to valuable community resources, including but not limited to financial aid programs, housing assistance, and mental health services. \n
- Provide crisis intervention for clients facing acute mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation strategies and safety planning to ensure immediate needs are addressed. \n
- Lead educational workshops aimed at promoting mental health awareness within the community and addressing stigma associated with seeking mental health support. \n
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including case notes, treatment updates, and assessments. \n
- Engage in regular continuing education and mentorship opportunities to further develop both clinical skills and personal growth. \n
Your primary client base will include patients within the hospice setting, their families, and individuals facing life-altering illnesses or transitions. This role requires a deep understanding of the emotional complexities associated with end-of-life care, and a commitment to providing therapeutic support during these critical moments. The ability to approach this sensitive work with empathy and professionalism is essential.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. \n
- Current Maryland state license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) allowing for independent practice. \n
- Demonstrated experience in delivering therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families, particularly in settings dealing with grief, loss, and chronic illness. \n
- Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to cultivate trusting relationships with clients, taking into consideration diverse cultural backgrounds and unique life experiences. \n
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, enabling effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and with clients. \n

- A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in mental health or social services. \n
- Experience in hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems. \n
- Certification in trauma-informed care or similar specialty areas. \n
The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
