Lab Assistant/PhlebotomistThe Physicians' Clinic of Iowa Medical Laboratory is seeking a full-time Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our exceptional team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in a patient-focused, fast-paced clinical environment.Primary duties for this position include but are not limited to:Perform phlebotomy procedures with accuracy and attention to detail.Conduct EKGs and process results.Patient education for sample collections.Maintain clean, well-stocked, and organized exam rooms, draw stations, and clinical areas.Complete clerical and administrative duties as needed.This position requires rotating shifts between 6:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., on a weekly basis.Qualifications:Experience performing phlebotomies, 1-2 years similar preferred.Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality.Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems.Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.Why Join PCI?Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.No nights or weekends.Paid holidays and a generous paid time off program.Supportive, team-oriented work environment focused on quality and compassion in patient care.PCI is E.O.E.
