Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Monroe, NC. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the Ammonia Refrigeration systems that keep our product fresh. • Install, maintain, and repair industrial refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify issues and ensure optimal performance.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
• Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Utilization of Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, Ladders, Fall Protection, and Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in refrigeration technology.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on refrigeration systems.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Must have a minimum of six (6) months of Mechanic work experience documented in the work history section, or be a graduate and/or student of an industrial maintenance/refrifgeration training program.

• Ammonia Refrigeration, Refrigeration or HVAC work experience strongly preferred.

• This facility accepts rehires only after 90 days, and having worked less than 3 times.

• Must be 18 years or older

• Must present valid Identification

• Must be willing to use basic hand tools

• Must be able to read and understand assignments.

• Must be willing and able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs 120 feet and ladders up to 60 feet, willing to stand for long periods of time, withstand extreme hot, cold, and inclement weather.
