Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2+ years of OR experience and recent Epic experience.

Job Details

• Work in the Main OR department of a hospital surgical unit,
• 24-bed unit supporting general surgery and orthopedic patient populations,
• 1:1 patient ratios,
• 5x8-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM,
• 36 weekly guaranteed hours,
• No weekend hours required,
• Call requirements apply,
• Uses Epic EMR,
• Utilizes standard OR equipment,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (AL or Compact) required,
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required, AHA-issued only,
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required,
• Recent Epic EMR experience required,
• General Surgery and Orthopedic surgical experience required,
• Davinci Robot and Max Face experience preferred,

• Provide perioperative nursing care for general surgery and orthopedic surgical cases,
• Facility is a comprehensive medical center recognized for excellence in surgical care, including minimally invasive procedures,
• Navy scrub color required,
• T-shirts, fleece jackets, hoods, and nail polish are not permitted,
