Civil Engineer

The Axel Group is seeking a Civil Engineer for our client’s team. This is a direct-hire, on-site role supporting a variety of civil engineering initiatives, including stormwater management, capital improvement programs, and recreation-related infrastructure. In this position, you’ll assist with project development from early investigation and design through construction administration—supporting field surveys, engineering calculations, plan preparation, and coordination with project stakeholders. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to Planning/Zoning Board review processes for private development projects while working closely with internal project teams and external partners to help keep deliverables on track. Responsibilities Assist with investigations, project development, field surveys, and design tasks for stormwater, capital improvement, and recreation projects Oversee and complete specific portions of assigned projects Support proposal preparation Assist in preparing design plans, including CADD support and specifications Support construction project administration activities Assist with Planning/Zoning Board reviews of private development projects Prepare design calculations and gather/compile project data Maintain clear communication with project team members, clients, and contractors Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required (5+ years preferred) Strong time management and organizational skills Valid driver’s license CADD experience preferred but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr The Axel Group, LLC
