Requirements

The Line Cook plays a critical role in delivering the exceptional food quality that defines the Tacos & Tequila Cantina experience. This position is responsible for preparing menu items according to established recipes, food safety standards, and quality expectations while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

What You'll Do:

Prepare with Excellence

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specifications, and presentation standards.
• Ensure food quality, taste, temperature, and appearance meet brand expectations.
• Coordinate food production to support efficient and timely service.

Maintain Food Safety Standards

• Follow all sanitation, food handling, personal hygiene, and health regulations.
• Complete food temperature checks and maintain proper food storage procedures.
• Label, date, and rotate products to ensure freshness and food safety compliance.

Keep the Kitchen Running Smoothly

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and report repair or maintenance needs.
• Minimize waste through proper handling of food, supplies, and equipment.

Work as One Team

• Collaborate closely with fellow kitchen and restaurant team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate effectively during busy service periods.
• Remain open to coaching, feedback, and continuous improvement.

Deliver on Our Standards

• Follow all Tacos & Tequila Cantina policies, procedures, and daily operational expectations.
• Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to contribute to a successful shift.
