Nursing Supervisor

Pontiac Care and Rehabilitation Center - Purpose of this position The purpose of this position is to assist the Director of Nursing Service in assessing resident care needs and implementing appropriate action. Implement nursing and procedures. Supervise Staffing for the nursing department and supervise the quality of nursing care provider to residents. Qualifications Current NYS RN License Delegation of authority Authority is delegated to the individual in this position to: Assess resident needs and interview, hire and terminate adequate nursing personnel Set resident care standards in accordance with accepted current standards of care to provide high quality care to residents Develop and implement policies and procedures for nursing care of residents Supervise and manage all aspects of the nursing department Assess, direct and supervise residents’ care needs Cooperate with administration to assure efficient, cost-effective operation of the facility This position reports to: Administrator #J-18808-Ljbffr Pontiac Care and Rehabilitation Center
