Requirements

• Healthcare professionals working in a CVICU may be required to have certification in their area of expertise. Pediatric cardiologists, for example, may be certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric cardiology, and registered nurses may be certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.2 years of experience required
