Job Description:

Ultrasound Technologist, StaffFlex contract

Must have RVT, prefer two years experience

13 weeks

$80.85/hr

Tues, Wed, Thur: 530p - 6a

On-call: back up call / and cover holiday 1-2

Performs routine and complex imaging studies, assisting with a variety of imaging procedures. Sets up and adjusts imaging equipment, manually maneuvering transducers to perform exams. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures. Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations. Collects and maintains patient treatment records and data. Conducts pre-treatment and post-treatment patient evaluations to ensure adequate preparation. Maintains supply inventory and restocks to maintain proper operating levels. May be required to maintain quality insurance for ICAEL. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

• Associate's in a related field [Required]
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Technical/Vocational School in a related field [Required]

Work Experience:

• 1+ year of technical experience [Preferred]
• Years experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) [Required] OR
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) [Required] OR
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring Education (EFM) [Required] OR
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE) [Required] OR
• Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) [Required] OR
• Ultrasound Technician (UT) [Required] OR
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required] OR
• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) [Required] OR
• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) [Required] AND
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) [Required] AND
• Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) [Required]
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Fetal Echocardiography (RDMS-FE) [Required]
