The hourly pay range for this position is $26.00 per hour - $29.00 per hour.Work HoursThe work hours for this position are approximately 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Mon-Fri.We're Looking for a Great Driver!Do you enjoy being on the move, staying organized, and playing an important role in keeping food-service operations running smoothly?We are looking for a dependable Driver to transport prepared foods, supplies, hot carts, containers, and utensils from the production kitchen to service locations according to a predetermined schedule.This is a hands-on role that combines safe driving, loading and unloading, food-safety awareness, inventory support, and teamwork with culinary and service teams.This role requires a valid Driver's License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, as operating a company vehicle is an essential responsibility in this position.Why You'll Like This JobActive, hands-on role with a variety of responsibilities throughout the dayWork closely with culinary, front-of-house, catering, pantry, and porter teamsHelp ensure food and supplies arrive safely, accurately, and on timeOpportunity to support multiple service locations and food-service operationsBe part of a professional Guckenheimer team focused on safety, service, and teamworkWhat You'll DoDrive a company delivery vehicle to transport prepared foods from the production kitchen to service locations according to a predetermined scheduleComplete daily deliveries safely and on timeLoad and unload containers, hot carts, utensils, food products, and other supplies and distribute them to the appropriate locationsPerform pickup and drop-off of product inventory as requiredSupport day-to-day kitchen, front-of-house, catering, pantry, and delivery needsWork with the Executive Chef, FOH Manager, and Catering Manager on operational projects and delivery needsCoordinate with on-site porters on storeroom organization and food deliveriesCoordinate with pantry supervisors on remote pantry product deliveriesMaintain product rotation, product labeling, and cleanliness of walk-ins and food-storage areasClean and maintain the interior and exterior of delivery vehicles dailyMaintain required vehicle maintenance records and delivery-log documentationMaintain a clean and safe work areaFollow workplace safety, food safety, HACCP, internal audit, and company procedures every dayPerform additional duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForValid state driver's licenseMust be at least 18 years of ageClean and safe DMV driving record that meets company requirementsCurrent Food Handler cardExperience driving a box truck with a hydraulic lift gateComfortable loading, unloading, and transporting food, carts, containers, utensils, and suppliesDependable and able to follow a delivery scheduleAble to work effectively with culinary, front-of-house, catering, pantry, and porter teamsAble to work safely in both hot and cold environmentsStrong attention to safety, food handling, organization, and documentationThe Physical Side of the JobThis is an active, hands-on driving and delivery position.
