Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Previous experience delivering therapy within K-12 school settings is highly valued
• Strong communication abilities—both written and verbal
• Commitment to cultural competence, equity, and student-centered care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students, identifying needs and documenting results
• Develop tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and set measurable therapy goals
• Deliver evidence-based interventions addressing articulation, fluency, language, and social pragmatic skills
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to facilitate students’ progress
• Regularly document therapy sessions, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for student success
• Provide education and resources to families and staff regarding speech-language disorders
