Shipping Manager

At Pilgrim’s, Safety Is A Condition , which means the safety of our team members comes first - always. General Summary: We are looking for a Shipping Manager for Pilgrim’s Shipping Department . Pilgrim’s is seeking Shipping Manager to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced production environment. You’ll oversee critical operations during all three shifts in shipping . You’ll manage and coordinate activities of employees engaged in preparing, verifying and maintaining records on all shipments, inventory control, loading/unloading trucks , forklift driving, and shuttle drivers . This role is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, animal welfare, sanitation, budgeting, and productivity while driving continuous improvement through data analysis and process coordination. Responsibilities: Operate within USDA/HACCP guidelines Promote a safe environment following state, federal and company safety standards Produce products that meet or exceed the customers’ (internal and external) requirements and provide excellent customer service Provide positive people oriented work environment, designed to build morale Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
