# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Pulmonary Medical-Surgical & Progressive Care – South Dakota**Start Date:** October 19, 2026 **Location:** Sioux Falls, South Dakota **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Straight night shifts; every other weekend and every other holiday required**Highlights:**- Work in a combined 30-bed medical-surgical unit and 8-bed progressive care unit within a Magnet-designated facility- Gain critical care experience with mechanical ventilation, telemetry, moderate sedation monitoring, and advanced respiratory therapies- Diverse patient population including pneumonia, COPD, CHF, pulmonary embolism, post-operative care, tracheostomies, and chest tubes- Average length of stay: 4 days (medical-surgical), 9 days (progressive care)- Comprehensive 3-day orientation program with competency validation and preceptor support- Epic EMR system with modern equipment including Alaris pumps and Acudose medication management**Requirements:**- Active RN license in South Dakota or Compact State license- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required- Specialty certification preferred- Experience with BiPap, CPap, heated high flow oxygen, oxygen titration, moderate sedation, telemetry, and medical-surgical patient care- Ability to float to other medical-surgical units as needed- Must badge in and out at facility; navy blue scrubs required**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**Join a collaborative, mission-driven team committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive family culture atmosphere.
