Mental Health ProfessionalProvide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of co-occurring mental health needs of patients. Treatment of patients will involve assessment and therapy, including group therapy, with patients who present with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder diagnoses. Additional duties involve participation as a member of a multidisciplinary team, crisis intervention, supervision of unlicensed mental health staff, and ongoing care planning.Provide mental health assessment, ensuring proper identification of mental health and substance use concerns, as well as barriers to recovery and stabilityProvide individual and/or group therapy utilizing evidence-based intervention strategies and best practicesProvide mental health consultation and information in order to educate patients, customers, and staff members regarding the dynamics of mental health issues in recovery. Seek and receive consultation from others in order to provide comprehensive careFacilitate crisis intervention to ensure safety and wellbeing of patientsRequiredMaster's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or related fieldFully licensed in the state you are practicing as a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Counselor, Licensed Social Worker, or similar.Current CPR Card or obtain within 30 days of hireIndividual National Provider Identification (NPI) numberMust satisfactorily pass a state/license specific background checkMust be 18+ years of agePreferredKnowledge of Twelve Step treatment approaches and stages of recoveryKnowledge/training in addiction studiesWillingness to be licensed in other statesSpanish fluencyThe Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is the largest nonprofit addiction recovery organization in the United States.
