Wake Forest Emergency Providers, affiliated with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest School of Medicine, delivers high-quality emergency care across Hospital Emergency Departments and Free-Standing Emergency Departments throughout the Greater Charlotte Market and Central and Northwest North Carolina. • Wilkes Medical Center Emergency Department
• Nocturnist Role - Extra compensation for Nocturnist Position
• 8-9-hour shifts w/ Physician-led scheduling
• 130 bed community hospital w/ 28 ED beds
• Annual ED visits: 20,000 – 39,000
• Team of 10 full-time physicians and 3 full-time APPs
• Hospitalists in house 24/7
• EPIC EMR
• Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
• Experience an environment that provides safe and equitable care for all patients
• Less than an hour from the mountains of Boone, NC and the city of Winston-Salem, NC

Training and/or Experience Required

• Emergency Medicine Board Certified / Board Eligible
• North Carolina Medical License (or eligibility)
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration in North Carolina
