Position Overview

The Corporate Finance department at AWG is looking for a Finance Specialist to join our team. In this position, you will have the opportunity to learn a variety of finance specific activities, work with a wide variety of AWG's internal and external stakeholders and receive cross training into other finance areas. Key Responsibilities

• Perform collection duties related to member/retail customers, ensuring payments are collected/applied timely and accurately, with payment returns and exception handling addressed and/or escalated properly
• Assist in the coordination of shareholder relations activities, including, but not limited to on-boarding, shareholder interactions, shareholder payments, and internal accounting related to shareholder programs
• Provide support related to certain banking functions
• Other assigned tasks related to Finance and Treasury responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting or business-related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to exhibit a high degree of confidentiality
• Ability to critically think, problem-solve, and exhibit patience and level-headedness in a fast paced environment
• Collection experience preferred
