Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack, route, identify, and label specimens according to procedures
• Enter patient information and specimen data accurately and timely
• Pack and ship specimens to appropriate testing facilities
• Document and resolve problem specimens; store excess samples properly

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Comfortable handling biological specimens
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Passing standardized color blindness test
