05812A – Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) needed for Perm Medical Oncology position in Rural New Mexico

Location:  Rural New Mexico

Job Type:  W2, Permanent Position

Job Specialty: Medical Oncology

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. 4/10s schedule may also be an option.
• No Call

Job Details:

• High acuity patients
• Provider will be building their own patient panel, but the hospital has many resources
• Compounding pharmacy onsite. Provider will work closely with the cancer center and infusion center
• Staffing Mix: 2 PRN Medical Oncology MDs, 1 PRN Radiation Oncology MD, 1 full-time NP on-site, 1 part time RN coordinator, Social Services

Position Requirements:

• Active New Mexico State Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license (or willingness to obtain)
• Active DEA registration
• Must be proficient in Infusion Chemo
