Safety Specialist

Role Overview The Safety Senior Specialist applies scientific and practical safety knowledge to innovate, design, and improve systems, processes, equipment, and tools, ensuring safety compliance aligned with operations, new models, and business goals. Key Responsibilities Lead safety improvement projects, proactively implement PDCA cycles to reduce hazards, support safety culture development through collaboration with plant leaders and safety committees, interpret and apply safety policies, perform complex risk assessments and ergonomic studies, and analyze safety data for reporting and trend identification. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field; 2+ years safety experience; professional safety certifications preferred; strong communication, interpersonal, data analysis, problem-solving, and planning skills; knowledge of safety regulations and injury prevention strategies; experience with root cause analysis and safety management. Work Environment Open office and manufacturing settings with potential for overtime, holiday, and rotating shifts.
