Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An Infusion Pharmacist is needed to support a dynamic pharmacy operation in Greensboro, NC. This contract assignment offers the possibility of long-term placement or permanent hire, providing an excellent opportunity for pharmacists with a strong background in home infusion therapy to make a meaningful impact in patient care.

Responsibilities include reviewing and verifying medication orders specifically for infusion therapies, overseeing the preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications, and ensuring full compliance with USP standards. The role also involves providing clinical support and drug information to both staff and patients, collaborating closely with the pharmacy team to maintain workflow and prioritize patient safety, and maintaining accurate documentation in line with regulatory requirements.

Key Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in North Carolina, in good standing
• Recent infusion or home infusion experience, with strong proficiency in sterile compounding
• Solid understanding of USP guidelines and related standards
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) if the position converts to permanent hire

Schedule/Hours:

• Approximately 3 to 5 days per week, with specific dates to be confirmed

This contract role does not require the candidate to serve as PIC unless transitioning to permanent employment, at which point the pharmacist should be willing to assume PIC responsibilities.
