Activities Aide

Activities Aide Premier Rehab & Healthcare at Burlington is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and energetic Activities Aide to join our team! As an Activities Aide, you will help create meaningful and engaging experiences for our residents by assisting with recreational programs, group activities, entertainment, holiday events, and special outings. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with seniors, building relationships, and helping residents stay active and connected. What You'll Do Assist with planning and leading recreational and group activities for residents Help organize entertainment, holiday celebrations, games, social events, and special programs Encourage and motivate residents to participate in activities Provide support and companionship to residents during activities Transport or assist with transporting residents to and from activities as needed Accompany residents on special events and community outings Facilitate activities while prioritizing resident safety and comfort Communicate with residents, families, and facility staff as needed Encourage family participation in activities and special events Set up and clean activity areas before and after programs Organize, maintain, and store activity equipment and supplies Help create a positive, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all residents Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience working with seniors, long-term care, skilled nursing, healthcare, recreation, or activities preferred Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Compassionate, dependable, patient, and organized Strong communication and interpersonal skills Enjoys working with seniors and engaging with residents Ability to work independently while also working as part of a team Ability to work the required schedule and rotation Benefits Competitive wages + shift differentials Weekly pay 6 paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision insurance Short-term and long-term disability insurance Paid time off (PTO) for full-time employees 401(k) On-site employee education and training Supportive team environment Make a Difference Every Day If you enjoy working with seniors and want a job where you can make a positive difference in residents' daily lives, we'd love to hear from you!
