MRI Technologist - Travel Job

Job Description

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (MR credential preferred).
• State licensure valid for MRI technologists in WI.
• 2+ years' experience as an MRI Technologist, including neuro, spine, tumor workups, cord compression, cardiac imaging, breast, enterography, abdominal, whole body, ortho, and spectroscopy cases. Preferred candidates will have strong experience across these case types; send for manager approval if lacking some.
• BLS certification required.
• IV starts required.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required.
• Experience working in an acute care hospital environment, preferably Level III trauma or similar settings.
• Will not accept first-time travelers. Candidates must have prior travel or hospital MRI experience.

• Orientation: 1 shift of unit orientation required.
• Technology/equipment: Siemens Aera MRI; PACS Change Healthcare; EMR EPIC.
• Unit support: Imaging assistant available; additional MRI techs staffed weekdays; 1 MRI tech + assistant on weekends.
• Floating: None.
• Holiday scheduling: May be scheduled for some holidays.
