Investigator Vacancy
This is an Investigator vacancy within the Office of Investigations, Special Investigations Branch. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Plans, coordinates, conducts and leads civil and administrative investigations.
- Supports Special Agents in conducting criminal investigations at the direction of the Assistant Special Agent in Charge.
- Responsible for conducting investigations of Whistleblower Reprisal.
- Advises staff and acts as a training investigator.
- Identifies special training needs of staff members and confers with supervisor.
- Develops training materials and guidelines.
- Makes presentations at regional office meetings and at training conferences for the nationwide investigative staff and other agencies.
- Coordinates and communicates orally and in writing with officials inside and outside the Department.
- Provides program and policy direction necessary to accomplish all investigative work requirements, and to ensure compliance with all legal requirements and OI policies and procedures.
