Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Med Surg

• Provide care for general med surg patients
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Demonstrate competency in age and population-specific standards
• Utilize equipment such as EMR-Epic, AccuDose, Bladder Scanner, and Telemetry

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Med Surg

• ND or compact state RN license, or willingness to obtain
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience in a large hospital or level 2 trauma center
• Experience with Epic EMR system
• Recent travel experience, preferably within the last year
