Job Details Location: Nashville, TN Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm Days: Tuesday-Saturday Full Time Eligible for Benefits Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Work Shift: 1st Shift (United States of America) Job Category: Laboratory Operations Company: Genetics Associates, LLC Responsibilities Perform a vital part of the patient care process by ensuring laboratory specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored. Perform moderate complexity testing as part of the patient care process. Research, troubleshoot, and resolve laboratory issues to ensure client satisfaction. Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions. Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards. Champion safety, compliance, and quality control. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in biological science or chemistry. Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to telephones, computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, manual and automated pipettes, and audible alarms. 2+ years of laboratory training or experience performing moderate complexity testing within area of specialty (bonus).
