As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, documenting activity, and reporting security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.89 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access screening requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering designated logistics and distribution areas in accordance with site policies and applicable procedures. Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and maintain accurate logs of visitors, vehicles, and screening activity. Respond to incidents, prohibited-item findings, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, loading zones, business operations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions. Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of security-related experience are required. A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
