Radiology / Cardiology - Nuclear Medicine Tech

Nuclear Medicine/PET Tech – PIH Health WhittierPerform nuclear medicine and PET imaging exams, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Conduct exams involving all vascular and organ systems. Maintain technical competency in nuclear medicine and computed tomography (CT). Administer radioisotopes and operate related imaging equipment. Apply knowledge of ALARA principles, radiation physics, biology, and protection measures. Accurately execute exposure techniques and patient care protocols. Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after imaging procedures. Transport patients as needed for imaging studies. Maintain current California DHS License (N) (R), ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification. Hold valid CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association. Utilize two years of experience in a hospital setting, including fusion imaging. Preference for ARRT (CT) certification and bilingual abilities (Spanish/Chinese).
