Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

This position offers 8-hour days from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a total of 40 hours per week. On-call duty is required one day a week, rotating among staff, and every fifth weekend.

We are seeking a qualified Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) with PACU circulating experience. The candidate will work in various surgical specialties, including General Surgery, GI, OBGYN, Ortho, ENT, Urology, Cataracts, and Podiatry.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases of surgical procedures.
• Circulate and monitor patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Provide care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Collaborate with surgical and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Required experience/certifications/licensure include:

• Must have circulating experience in the operating room (required).
• PACU experience is required.
• Scrub experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in General Surgery, GI, OBGYN, Ortho, ENT, Urology, Cataracts, and Podiatry cases is required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS Certification (required).
• Active American Heart Association ACLS Certification (required).
• Active American Heart Association PALS Certification (required).
• Current RN license in the state of practice (required).
• One signed supervisory reference from the past year of employment (required).
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
