Alterations Associate

As an Alterations Associate, your unique skills contribute to our reputation as America’s Leading Department Store. You have the opportunity to work with customers as well as execute a variety of alterations, like hemming of jeans and pants.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Own the customer experience – greet people sincerely, be friendly and thank every customer Measure, fit, mark, and pin garments according to customer specifications Disassemble, sew and/or reassemble garments according to measurements taken during fitting – use iron and steamer to prepare garments for customers Repair damaged or defective merchandise Garment work may range from basic to moderately difficult sewing/alteration procedures Maintain a clean department and work area Candidates must be professionally competent in all basic and some advanced alterations.
