Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular OR/CVOR

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Surgical Services - CVOR Tech for a weekend day shift contract requiring a minimum of 18 months of cardiovascular OR experience and Level 1 Trauma Center background. Requirements Active IN or Compact RN license in hand at time of start Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or RQI accepted) and NBSTSA Minimum 18 months to 2 years of CVOR scrub tech experience required Level 1 Trauma Center experience required Vascular and thoracic surgical case experience required Cerner EMR experience required Graduation from a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation Responsibilities Hospital-based CVOR setting at a Level 1 Trauma Center Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM, Friday through Sunday Call requirement: 90–120 hours of call per 6-week schedule Cardiovascular and thoracic surgical case types include: CABG, TAVR, TEVAR/EVAR, mitral valve replacement, aortic dissection repair, AAA repair, heart and lung transplant, VAD, robotic-assisted cardiac surgery, laparoscopic cardiac surgery, carotid endarterectomy, atherectomy, atrial septal defect repair, cardiomyoplasty, pericardial window, femoral popliteal bypass graft, and preparation of pump lines from perfusion for cannulation Charting via Cerner (experience required) Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility may be required First-time travelers are welcome to apply, provided they have Level 1 Trauma Center experience Local candidates are accepted for this Periop/Surgical Services position Former permanent or PRN employees of IU Health must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-698319 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
