Radiology - Interventional Physician

Locums - Interventional Radiologist Opportunity - Williamsport, Pennsylvania (IMLC Welcome)

Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Interventional Radiologist
• Locum tenens opportunity
• IMLC candidates welcome
• Seeking one provider for 1-2 weeks per month
• Minimum availability: One full week (Monday-Sunday) per month
• Monday-Friday schedule: 7:30 AM-4:30 PM with night call 4:30 PM-7:30 AM
• Weekend call: Saturday 7:30 AM-Monday 7:30 AM (24-hour call coverage)
• Cover IR, CT, and Ultrasound procedures plus call
• No diagnostic/general radiology reads
• No weekend rounding
• Light call volume, typically 2-3 calls throughout the week/weekend
• Busy daytime procedural practice, though physicians rarely stay past 5:00 PM unless on call
• Current PACS: GE Centricity (transitioning to Philips ViewPACS)
• Voice recognition: PowerScribe
• EMR: Epic
• Dedicated IR suite with fixed image intensifier
• Procedures performed in IR lab, Cath Lab, CT, Ultrasound, or OR depending on case
• IV team available Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

• Ablations (lung, liver, bone, renal, adrenal)
• Angiography and arterial interventions
• Biliary procedures
• Bone marrow biopsies
• Y-90 chemoembolization/radioembolization
• CT-guided biopsies
• Dialysis access interventions
• G-tubes
• IVC filter placement/removal
• Liver biopsies (CT, ultrasound, and transjugular)
• Lumbar punctures
• Nephrostomy procedures
• Paracentesis
• PICC lines
• PleurX catheters
• Port placements
• Thoracentesis
• Thyroid biopsies
• TIPS
• Uterine artery embolization
• Venograms
• Venous interventions
• Vertebroplasty/Kyphoplasty
• And additional advanced IR procedures
