Round One Entertainment is hiring for our new location at The Shops at Skyview in Flushing, NY (opening early July).Our Customer Associates help keep the excitement going across our departments, and we’re currently hiring for:AmusementBowlingFood and BeverageCleaningFacilities MechanicWhether you're helping guests at the game counter, setting up bowling lanes, serving up snacks, or keeping our games in top shape, every role plays a part in creating unforgettable guest experiences.Department Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):Amusement:Operate POS registers for game card sales and prize redemptionsMaintain arcade and redemption inventoryKeep the game floor clean, stocked, and welcomingPerform open and close procedures and assist guests as neededBowlingAssign lanes, lend equipment, and support in-store bowling promotionsClean and reset bowling and activity areasAssist with basic maintenance and customer instructionProcess sales, handle reservations, and support parties and eventsFood and BeveragePrepare and serve food and drinksOperate POS systems and clean the kitchen and dining areasOpen and close food service area and manage inventorySupport other departments when neededCleaningKeep the entire store clean including restrooms, furniture, and arcade areasUse cleaning equipment properly and safelyLaunder cleaning rags, wash windows, and follow MSDS protocolsAssist the Facilities team with cleaning needsFacilities MechanicMaintain and repair bowling, arcade, and Spo-Cha equipmentComplete preventive maintenance as scheduledKeep workshop areas organized and cleanMay assist with installations or support other store locations when neededPosition Details:Part-time (20–25 hours per week)$17.50 per hourStore hours: 10:00 AM – 2:00 AM, including weekends and holidaysBenefits:1 hour arcade play per week (non-prize)90 minutes of bowling per week (shoes included)1 hour of karaoke or billiards per week50% off food during shifts1 free beverage per shiftAbout Round1:Round1 Bowling & Arcade offers a full entertainment experience under one roof. Guests can enjoy bowling, arcade games (including exclusive Japan imports), crane machines, billiards, karaoke, and more. The venue also includes food, drinks, and bar service in a high-traffic environment.Position Summary:This role supports arcade operations including game card sales, prize redemption, and maintaining the game floor.Essential Duties:Operate POS register for game card sales, reloads, and prize redemptionsAssist guests with games and general questionsRestock prizes and arcade suppliesMaintain arcade floor, machines, and countersPerform opening and closing procedures (restocking, cleaning, setup)Monitor games and report issuesAnswer basic guest inquiriesOther duties as assignedWork Environment:Fast-paced bowling and arcade environment with loud noise, bright lights, and high guest traffic.Physical Demands:Standing and walking for extended periodsBending, reaching, and continuous movementLifting up to 100 lbs with assistanceThe above job description identifies the essential job functions and skills needed by the person or persons assigned to this position.
