Overview Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery Location: Devils Lake, North Dakota, United States Start date: 08/03/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Weekly pay: $2,596 – $2,690 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Shift: 3x12 rotating (Days/Nights) Setting: hospital travel assignment Key Highlights Weekly pay range: $2,596 – $2,690 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 rotating (D/N) Start date: 08/03/2026 Hospital setting Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care for labor and delivery patients in accordance with policy and protocol Develop and implement a plan of care based on assessment, including discharge planning and patient education Assess patient condition, manage pain, identify early warning signs, and initiate escalation or emergency measures as needed Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; document observations and ensure timely referrals and follow-up Coordinate education for patients and families; participate in discharge planning and ensure safe transfer of care Assign or delegate nursing interventions within scope of practice and maintain accurate, concise charting Requirements Active RN license in North Dakota or a Compact State (ND Board of Nursing or Compact State Agreement) prior to start date Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); STABLE; all prior to start date Ability to work a 3x12 rotating shift schedule in a hospital setting Education: Graduated from an accredited nursing program and earned RN licensure Experience: Labor & Delivery or acute care nursing experience; travel nursing experience is advantageous but not required Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours: 36 per week 24/7 recruiter and travel support Fast credentialing to facilitate onboarding Nationwide assignments and assignment support Extension opportunities available Dedicated support throughout the assignment
