Dental Hygienist

Location: 3950 Fettler Park Drive, Dumfries, VA 22025 Schedule: OFF Mondays; Tuesday (6:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.); Wednesday & Thursday (12:30 p.m.–7:00 p.m.); Friday (6:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.); Saturday (7:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.) every other weekend Pay Range: $57–$63 hourly, paid bi-weekly, with an option to receive daily pay and quarterly bonuses. CE coverage available. Responsibilities Provide outstanding patient care and establish trust with patients. Work as an integral member of the patient care team, giving patients the time and care they need and deserve. Utilize a hygiene mentor program to enhance clinical skills and support professional growth. Maintain and develop patient education, preventive care, and overall dental health. Document medical history and dental patient screening accurately. Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in Virginia. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required). Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation. CPR certification. Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems is preferred. A desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs. Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties, with or without reasonable accommodation. Prolonged periods of sitting and standing; ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
